Paulina Floren lives and works in Kassel. There, they studied Product Design at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and have since been working as a designer and artist. In their artistic and design practice, Paulina focuses intensively on the interplay between the digital and the physical. The material porcelain and the technique of ceramic 3D-printing are central to this exploration. Through this approach, forms are created that are simulated using mathematical rules and algorithms, making organic structures visible. The study of animal, plant, and other life forms is an essential part of their work.
